Restaurant Workshop for Independent Restaurant Owners

It’s workshop week. I’m at my workshop, How to Run a Profitable Restaurant: from Soup to Nuts, this week.

It’s always a big week for me because I talk non-stop for four days and nights straight, explaining the ins and outs of using systems to run an efficient and profitable restaurant. I pack everything you need to know about running a restaurant into four days.

Although I’ve only lost my voice during the workshop one time (and yes, I continued to teach from the stage), I am always missing a few notes in my voice by the end of the week.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s one of the best parts of being a restaurant coach and trainer. I love seeing the light bulbs go off above the heads of those in attendance. I love seeing the numbers getting crunched, the idea sharing between peers and the enthusiasm that pours out of people as they find hope for their business’ success.

If you’re reading this, that probably means you didn’t make it to the workshop this time around. Don’t worry. Your chance to attend will come again March 22-25, 2009.

To give you a better idea of what the workshop is all about, I’ve compiled this series of posts that cover the workshop. The first one is a great summary of the most common things independent restaurant owners discover at my workshop.
